At BeyLoved Pairings, we’re redefining the beer pairing experience by bringing together diverse and often overlooked cuisines from around the world. From African to Caribbean, Asian to Latin, we curate unique events that celebrate the rich flavors and traditions of these cultures, all expertly paired with craft beers. Every event we host is carefully designed around a specific theme, where we blend exceptional food, curated menus, thoughtfully selected decor, music, and ambiance to create an immersive and unforgettable atmosphere.

Our approach goes beyond just food and beer—guests have the opportunity to engage directly with talented chefs and a Certified Cicerone®, gaining expert insights and commentary throughout the experience. This personal connection enhances the tasting journey, making each event a learning experience as well as a celebration.

Our Story

BeyLoved Pairings was founded by Joanne Mumbey, a Certified Cicerone® and Culinarian with several years of experience in the food and beverage industry. She is originally from Uganda, and because of the global nature of her parents’ work she was able to experience various international cuisines. Her curiosity and love for so many cuisines led her to attend Culinary School at Johnson & Wales University, where she grew a passion for craft beer. She noticed that most beer and food pairings she encountered were primarily centered around European cuisine. She created BeyLoved Pairings to highlight diverse flavors, near and dear to her heart that are typically overlooked in the traditional beer pairing space.With her unique background and an eye for detail, Joanne brings a fresh, insightful perspective to every event she plans.
