About the Founder
Joanne Mumbey
Joanne is a Certified Cicerone® and Culinary Dietitian Passionate About Curating Unique Beer & Food Pairing Experiences.
Originally from Uganda, Joanne’s exposure to diverse international cuisines, due to her parents' global work, sparked her curiosity and love for food. This led her to pursue Culinary School at Johnson & Wales University, where she developed a passion for craft beer.
Joanne noticed that most beer and food pairings focused primarily on European cuisine. In response, she created BeyLoved Pairings to celebrate diverse flavors that are often overlooked in traditional beer pairing.

We returned to the beautiful Webbs’ City Cellar space for our final event of the year. Apululu Latin Street Food prepared a heartfelt four course dinner featuring Cuban-Mexican fusion cuisine.
